Master Instructor and Owner

Master Debbie Bissonnette Shekosky is an accomplished martial artist, holding a 5th-degree black belt in Kenpo karate and a 1st-degree black belt in Modern Arnis. She has over 30 years of experience teaching self-defense to both adults and children and is considered an expert instructor. In the early stages of her karate career, she won multiple tournaments in the New England area. She has also trained with some of the most respected martial arts masters, including Grandmaster Remy Presas and Grandmaster Wally Jay.

Master Debbie takes great pleasure in teaching self-defense classes to women and children and has organized several tournaments, seminars, and fundraisers for various causes such as Channel 3 Kids Camp, ALS, and Middletown High School. She recently helped a former student, Samantha Wysocki, in her battle against cancer. Debbie has given many karate demonstrations along with her students at local events.

She is a member of the New England Martial Arts Teachers Association (NEMATA) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University.ce degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University.
